THE NYNES VARIETY HOUR PRESENTS: An Evening of Disaster and Triumph
Join us for a fun evening of improv comedy, music, and storytelling featuring the Duke Comedy Theater Players, storyteller Amy Jay, singer-songwriter Siobhan O’Malley, and your host, emcee, and curator Patrick Gizzard.
We guarantee, without a speck of hyperbole or hesitation, that this old-fashioned comedy variety show will be the SINGLE GREATEST ENTERTAINMENT EXPERIENCE of your life. You will never be the same after you see it. On your deathbed, at a ripe old age, surrounded by those you love and cherish, your final thoughts will not be memories of them, but of this singular, triumphant show.
That's the plan.
But, if we're being honest, this *could* be a total disaster. Careers ended. Hearts broken. Lives ruined forever to a soundtrack of weeping, gnashing of teeth, and tepid applause. A spectacle of humiliation and failure so devastating that, on your deathbed, at a ripe old age, surrounded by those you love and cherish, your final thoughts will not be memories of them, but of the horrors you witnessed onstage in the Spring of 2026.
Sound like high stakes for a comedy show? You ain't kidding, friend. But remember, without the possibility of disaster, there can be no possibility of triumph. Have hope. Be brave. Make your reservation today.
