The Hudson Valley’s own NATALIE FORTEZA pays tribute to one of the most distinctive voices and iconic artists, the singer and band known as—SADE. As a way to celebrate Sade’s 2026 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction, and pay homage to the band that initially cultivated Natalie’s visions of her own artistry and music pursuits. Natalie and her band of friends and gifted musicians will perform a set of Sade’s beloved songs including No Ordinary Love, Cherish the Day, Smooth Operator, and more.
NATALIE FORTEZA has her own distinctive voice and vibe in her own right having written and independently released her own original music. Grammy-winner Michael League (Snarky Puppy), who produced her debut record, 01 EP, has said, “my favorite musicians are those who have their own sound—the ones you recognize the instant you hear them. This is how I felt when I first heard Natalie. She creates a vibe from the first note, and holds you until the last one…” She has performed venues from NYC to the Hudson Valley to Connecticut’s beloved Ridgefield Playhouse having opened for artists such as Allen Stone, Talking Head’s Jerry Harrison + Adrian Belew, Philly-Soul singer Mutlu, Charlie Hunter, and has toured with the The Latin Dead as a guest vocalist.
