Andres Jimenez, better known as Dilemastronauta, is not just a musician or producer—he's a pioneering force in the world of Tropical Futuristic music. Born in Colombia and having spent 25 transformative years in the dynamic cultural hub of New York, Dilemastronauta has carved out a bold, genre-defying path with his innovative sound.
Dilemastronauta was the co-founder of the band M.A.K.U Sound System, with which he recorded 5 albums and toured the world. In 2016 he co-founded Combo Chimbita, who have recorded 5 LPs and 4 singles and continue touring internationally.
2025 was a very prolific year as Dilema toured the United States with Tunisian singer EMEL. For Jimenez it was quite a musical challenge and a wonderful opportunity to learn from one of the most outspoken Arabic singers of her generation.
