Before transitioning to rock and roll full-time, Clare trained extensively and toured as an opera singer, appearing multiple times at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Town Hall, Symphony Space, 92ndY, National Sawdust and at concert halls throughout Europe and Asia.  Since 2018, she has toured with The Englishtown Project, The Airplane Family, and Deadgrass & Friends.

Hailed as an “Artist You Need to Know” in 2023 by Relix Magazine, Clare Maloney & The Great Adventure have been bringing their joyous mix of good vibes and original tunes to audiences across the US since 2021.  The band, which features Nate DeBrine on guitar, Russ Gottlieb on bass and electric banjo, and Caleb Estey on drums, released their self-produced debut album “Daybreaker” to rave reviews in December 2022.  The album title stands as a sly ode to Maloney’s decade-long battle with writer’s block, and triumph over it; night gives way to day, just as the multi-instrumentalist and former opera singer broke through in 2021 to write over 100 songs, flawlessly blending rock, alt-country, americana, folk, funk, the great american songbook and more.  The band has opened for Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo, The Bacon Brothers, The Wailers, Bailen, and Donna the Buffalo.  In addition, they have played pre-shows for Robert Plant & Alison Krauss, Phil Lesh & Friends and Aimee Mann, and their 2023 “Daybreaker” tour included sit ins from members of Goose.  Their new EP "Reckoning" is due out later this year.
