Apoca-lips | A shadow cast performance of Rocky Horror Picture show

No reservations
With opening act:
Dining 5:30-9pm. Music 7:30pm.

The Apoca-Lips Cast has been the premiere shadow cast of the Rocky Horror Experience in the Hudson Valley region since the turn of the 21st century. We provide live performances in front of the original 1975 film, The Rocky Horror Picture Show. The story is a parody of Frankenstein, that begins with an innocent couple entering a castle run by a mad scientist who happens to be a transexual from another planet! Though shunned to the bottom shelf upon its release, the film quickly became a cult classic providing liminal space for queer culture. The shadow cast experience provides a safe and fun space to challenge sexuality through drag culture. Come dressed as you are or dare to have fun and dress in character or in drag! Walk in someone else's heels and shout out loud and proud, "Don't Dream It, Be It!"

Since then, the show has been an annual event featured at the college on the last Friday of October. Coley has played many roles in the cast and most enjoys promoting and expanding shows across the Hudson Valley.
