For 25 years Robert Sarazin Blake has traveled the US and Ireland playing his wordy songs backed by his dashing and bashing guitar. In 2015 he began collaborating with the Hudson Valley backing band Connor Kennedy, Lee Falco, Branson Morrison & Will Bryant. Together in 2017 they recorded the double album ‘recitative’. Robert Christgua,The Dean of Rock Critics gave the album an A- writing 'Chants that riff on the titles WORK, COUPLES, and SINGLE WOMEN are as instantly indelible as the Springsteen, Weill, Reed, and Van Morrison lifts woven in’. At the end of the album release tour in 2018 the band recorded a live album called ‘One Summer Night’. In May of 2023 Robert Sarazin Blake and the band again hit the studio blending Blake’s narratives with a swirling pulse drums, organs and guitars. This Easter Weekend Tour they’ll be playing songs from their new album and whatever else falls out of their hands.
